What We Do
The Covid-19 crisis currently ravaging India is leaving countless women widowed and destitute. Women most in need find themselves with the sudden burden of young families to support and no source of income or opportunity to work, all while processing their unexpected grief.
Many of the women we support come from a culture where the man is the primary breadwinner of the household. The sudden loss of their husbands leaves them in both emotional and financial distress.

What We do
Our Mission
To envelop women with dignity and support in their time of grief.
To meet immediate monetary needs.
We provide grants which will cover 6 months of living costs, to reduce the widows’ financial burden while they are grieving.
To empower via skills training.
We aim to support widowed women by sponsoring the costs of local skills training, so they can build sustainable futures for themselves and their families.
To provide access to emotional support in times of grief.
We offer access to grief counselling, to give women the practical emotional support they need to deal with their loss.
